Become a Sustaining Member or Donor

By making a recurring monthly contribution, you make a lasting commitment to defending the integrity of science education throughout the country. Becoming an NCSE sustainer is a great way to help ensure the stability and effectiveness of NCSE. 

Becoming a sustaining donor is easy! Simply enter the amount you would like to donate along with your payment information, and we will automatically charge your credit card each month until you say otherwise. In addition to saving yourself time, your money goes further as a sustaining donor because it reduces administrative expenses related to mailings and paperwork. 

You choose the amount at which you would like to participate and the frequency.

Sustaining Donor Program FAQs

1. How do I update or make changes to my sustaining contribution or contact information?

You can contact one of our Donor Service representatives at or (510) 601-7203. If you email or call after business hours (M-F, 9am-5pm US Pacific) and leave a message. Please remember to leave your full name and street address so we can research your membership. Credit card updates cannot be made on-line.

2. If I become a sustainer, am I a member of NCSE?

Yes, as long as your total annual contribution amounts to $40 or more.

3. How do I cancel or suspend my sustaining contributions?

You may request to cancel or suspend your membership at any time. To cancel a sustaining membership you need to call NCSE (510-601-7203).

4. Will I receive annual tax receipt to confirm my annual giving?

Yes, you will be e-mailed an annual letter in January. Or a hard copy can be sent on request.
