As we near Darwin's 200th birthday, there are more and more opportunities for scientists to discuss evolution with the general public and with the press. Such public engagement is an important way to defuse the conflict over creationism and evolution, to educate different parts of the public about what science is and why it is important. NCSE's Josh Rosenau, a biologist who talks to the press and public about evolution on a daily basis, will share tips and tricks for being more effective in those short-lived shots at science education.
