Mead for a day-long workshop on evolution, sponsored by the Friends of the Florrisant Fossil Beds National Monument, held at Colorado College. The scientific evidence for evolution is overwhelming. Educating students about evolution continues to be a controversial topic in many communities. Evolution and the nature of science: Pheromones, fossils, and a fishapod will include discussions of the nature of science and scientific theories, fossil evidence for evolution, and current research in evolutionary biology.
